Papercuts Vol. 16: Heroes and Villains

I guest-edited the new edition of Papercuts (Vol. 16) brought to you by the wonderful folks at Desi Writers Lounge. With a theme of “Heroes and Villains” the team worked hard to look for the nuances of both sides of the same coin. The result is classy, quality writing that never fails to surprise.

Discover new writing, an interview with Omar Shahid Hamid, a poem by John Siddique and another by Ilona S. Yusuf. Read about the mysteries of being Salman Khan, an interview with Humans of Pakistan, and read my favorite, the stunning short story “Distance is Time” by Madeeha Ansari.

Who knows? The next literary star from India, Pakistan and the South Asian diaspora might be lurking within.

Here’s the lovely cover image by David Whitlam, “Duality”
